Abstract

Activity of Daily Living (-4 DI.) in lie elderly. Because of the impact thatjoint pain is dangerous then it rakes a good handling 10 reduce thejoint pain. This Saud-y aims to identify Efforts Joint Pain Treatment in Elderly Experiencing Joiy:t Pam in Elderly Social Institution Tresna Werdha Minaula Kendari Year 2015. Methods; The variables of this study, namely massage, relaxalion, warm compresses, distraciion, and medicine, This type of research is descriptive by conducting interviews with respondents- This research sample totaled 4! people were taken by purpasive sampling technique. Dala are presented descriptively in theform ofafrequency distribution table and narrated. Results: The results showed that of rhe 41 respondems, there are 35 elderly (85.4%) who underlake efforts address joint pain in both categories and there are 6 elderly (14.6%) who underlake efforts to addressjointpain in less category. Suggestion: The suggestion ofthis reseá*ch was to officers Social Institution Tresna Werdha Minaula Xendari in order ro improve service quality and doing counseiing on procedures to reducejoint pain in older adulls who experience'oint pain.
